‘Something blue’ for the Groom?

I have shared with you before information about the ‘something blue’ tradition and how it is a symbol of love and fidelity usually express from the bride in this important day. However, in one of the weddings celebrated this weekend at our property La Concha Resort in San Juan , Puerto Rico I saw something very interesting and different. The couple did have the customary ‘something blue’ but, they took it to another level. Instead of using it in the bouquet, the earrings, the bride shoes or a charm in the bridal gown; it was the groom who had it. Which I thought it was not only fair-minded but, very ROMANTIC!

I was fascinated by the detail so I started to research about the topic and found many charming ways that couples are using now a days to make it part of their big day. Find below photos of different ideas in which your groom can incorporate the ‘something blue’ ritual.

In my opinion, both should integrate the ‘something blue’ to their individual gowns as it is a way of making the expression of love and fidelity to each other instead of just from the bride. What do you think?

Hope this thoughts helps you to vary the tradition and create your own!

Till next time,
