Ask Bridal Savvy: “Is it ok to wear white on my second wedding?”
Did you know that Queen Victoria was the trendsetter of the white wedding dress and started this tradition in 1840 on her wedding with Albert? I’m sure you didn’t know that! Well, the truth is that before Victoria, women use to pick any color for their dress but after the queen, the color white became a symbol of virginity and purity. But this rule is so passé!
Nowadays, the truth is that women have started embracing color not only for their second
but also first weddings. However, your wedding dress should be chosen based on your personality, skin tone and fashion sense, and if white is the color you wanna go for, then my answer is yes, go for it definitely!
Yours truly,
