My top 5: Romantic Honeymoon Destinations

Ahhh the honeymoon… That moment when you get to relax with your loved one; no worries about the flavor of the cake, the flowers of the bouquet or the color of the bridesmaids dress, because it’s all gone: your dream wedding day already happened. Now it’s time to relax and enjoy this new stage in your lives as a wife and husband. And what better way to do it than escaping to one of the most romantic places on Earth for an enchanting couple’s retreat. Given that Puerto Rico is a MUST, here I share with you my top five worldwide honeymoon destinations.

5. Bora Bora, Polinesia Francesa

This has been for ages considered as one of the most beautiful, breathtaking and romantic places in the universe! With its crystal clear blue waters, amazing sunsets and aphrodisiac beaches, doing water sports or getting a nice massage with our loved one, are truly unforgettable pleasures.

4. Paris, France

The name says it all: “la cité de l’amour!” With its beautiful colorful busy streets, full of interesting stories and culture, getting lost with your loved one in one of the amazingly picturesque Parisian scenes with the painter and the Seine river, seems like the perfect way to live a honeymoon! Don’t forget to have the baguette with the coffee; it’s a cliché we all must do before we die!

3. The Maldives

One of the most attractive things of this place, is the feeling that you are all on your own in paradise. Famous for the beautiful bungalows on top of clear waters and white sand beaches, if you prioritize intimacy more than anything, believe me this is the place for you!

2. The Amalfi Coast, Italy

With unbelievable places like Positano and the Capri island, this part of Italy is the one to visit if you are on a romantic getaway and want to feel like you’re inside a Picasso painting all the time! With the amazing view of the Vesubio volcano and their amazing artisanal limoncello slush, you’ll have a refreshing yet beautifully romantic trip.

Ok. I can’t even begin to describe how perfect this place is for a honeymoon. This the number  one destination that I would recommend for everyone looking for special, unforgettable, magical and enchanting place to celebrate such a special moment in life! The colors, the architecture and just the air the of the Santorini streets will have you falling in love all over again every second you spend there!
