How to make a wedding unique
Got engaged! You are going to get started with all the wedding planning but, all of a sudden you realize you don’t want to do the same protocol or details that every wedding has… How can you make it unique? What details would make your wedding stand out from the rest?
There are many great ideas you can find searching in the internet especially on “Pinterest”. As you are well aware, I love it! Follow us at La Concha Weddings (click here) and you will be amaze with all of my favorite ideas while you have some fun pinning too!
Now, allow me to share with you some of my chosen ways to enhance your wedding with little details that will surely get your guests talking!
1. Personalize your bridesmaids’ bouquet by selecting each of their favorite flowers. You can still unify them by using the same color.
2. If you have a family or friend that is very talented, ask them to sing during the ceremony to make it more special.
3. Pick a song for the flower girl and ring bearer to walk down the aisle. For example, “Be my guest” from Beauty and the Beast or “Hakuna Matata” from Lion King. Don’t you think it would be super cute?
4. Cocktail hour, have available in the tables some scrapbook paper, markers and glitter pens for your guest to create some awesome designs for you.
5. Surprise your guests with a handwritten note in each place card.
6. Collect photos of friends and family members to put as table number or place cards on the tables were they are going to sit.
7. Change the groom’s cake for a cupcake bar! Frost your on cupcake with unusual flavors and add some sprinkles! Fun!
8. Make everyone dance! Ask your guest in the RSVP card for their favorite song and provide a list to the DJ.
9. Order custom labels for bottled water and wine.
10. If you are having a destination wedding, add something typical and local from the place you are celebrating it. For example, in Puerto Rico there you must taste: “Lechon a la Vara and Arroz Mampostea’o”, which translates to Roasted Pig and a combination of a traditional rice and beans.
Do them all or pick your favorite, however you decide I am sure your guests will remember for a long time the details that you did to make it unique for them!
Please share with me what other ideas do you have to make your wedding memorable!
