Ask Bridal Savvy: How do I get my guests to RSVP quicker?
Ladies, did you know that for every 100 wedding guests that you have on your list, you can expect 83 to attend your wedding and 17 to decline your invitation? Those results are according to a study by rsvpify.com. The invitations section of the wedding process can become a headache if not handled with the appropriate time in advance. Two ways you can make your guests RSVP quicker is by making your own wedding website or blog and allowing them to send the RSVP response to the site. If you don’t have the time to create your own page you can also give them the option of RSVPing via your personal email. And since nowadays, technology has such an important role in our lives, you also have the option of letting your guests RSVP via text message. So simple and fast because you know how today’s world lives glued to their phone! I would recommend that one week prior to giving your vendors the number of guests, you should follow up with the family members and friends that haven’t answered yet. And if they still don’t RSVP by that time, tell them there won’t be any cake for them if you don’t have an answer in one day. You’ll see how they come around!
Yours truly,
